ATX-104 is a light-activated dermal filler, which is based on Kythera’s proprietary photochemistry platform. Transdermal photo-polymermization technology provides the ability to create additional cross-linking density of PHOTOfiller after injection into the dermis. Inducing additional cross-linking density in situ is being studied to enable the maintenance of optimal pre-injection mechanics of filler material while dramatically improving its persistence and contouring properties. Kythera’s proprietary technology has been demonstrated to improve a variety of different dermal fillers in pre-clinical models.
