Kythera Biopharmaceuticals to Participate in The Private Company Forum at The 31st Annual Goldman Sachs Global Healthcare Conference

LOS ANGELES, June 11, 2010  – KYTHERA Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. ("KYTHERA") announced today its participation in the Private Company Forum at the 31st Annual Goldman Sachs Global Healthcare Conference on Monday, June 14, 2010 from 4:45 to 6:45 p.m Pacific Time at the Plaza Pavilion, Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles, CA. This event marks KYTHERA’s fourth consecutive appearance at the Goldman Sachs Private Company Forum.

“We are very excited to be participating at the Goldman Sachs Global Healthcare Conference again this year,” said Keith Leonard, President and CEO. “Our participation in previous years has allowed us to build relationships with high-quality private investors with a goal of further progressing our lead product, ATX-101, an injectable adipolytic agent for the reduction of localized fat deposits.”

Keith Leonard, President and Chief Executive Officer, Amit Munshi, Chief Business Officer, John Smither, Chief Financial Officer and Deepak Chadha, VP, Regulatory Affairs, will be available to discuss the Company during the forum. The conference will be held June 14-17 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles, CA.
